Ice cream stops are an important part of the family runs. If the children are unhappy
then mum and dads life is miserable. I think thats the right way around!

Of course, the adult riders never stop for ice creams. Well that's what they say,
now we know the truth, eh?

Second meet of 2009. 12 tandems met at Mark and Juliet's and, although numbers reduced
after the lunch stop as some headed for home, here we see 9 of them including 6
junior stokers. (Mar 09)

This run was advertised as being hilly. Here we see smiles all round at the top
of a 350m climb from Buckden up onto Fleet Moss. The dark mountainous land mass
of Penyghent can be seen in the background. (May 09)
